Since 1st April 2010, the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRCEES), has required eligible organisations to control, record and report their Carbon emissions on an annual basis.
This government scheme applies only to larger organisations (public and private sector) with a mandatory half hourly metered usage of more than 6,000 MWh per annum. Crucially, eligible organisations only have until 30th September 2010 to complete the registration process.
